- Physics of active particle (self-propelled particles such as microrganisms) suspensions
- Swimming microorganisms in complex environment
- Diffusion in complex polymeric media
- Dynamics and structure of concentrated colloidal suspensions (e.g. hard spheres, anisotropic magnetic colloid, ...)
- Phase transitions, e.g. freezing transition, glass transition
- New methods for high-throughput characterisation of the motility of microorganisms (e.g. bacteria, algae, spermatozoa)
